Bowl Ease is a disposable bowling shoe system designed to improve hygiene, comfort, and accessibility in modern bowling environments. The project combines product design with a vending-based service model, allowing users to easily rent, use, and return shoes without relying on traditional rental systems. By integrating convenience with hygiene-focused design, the system enhances both user experience and operational efficiency.

Context
User and Site
Bowling shoes are essential for safety, balance, and performance. Their dual-sole system allows controlled sliding and stable braking. However, in recreational settings, repeated use of rental shoes leads to hygiene issues and discomfort, highlighting the need for a cleaner and more user-friendly solution.
User : Recreational bowlers aged 15–25 who prioritize convenience, hygiene, and comfort.
Site : Designed for modern bowling centers such as Dubai Bowling Center, where quick access and seamless experiences are essential.
Solution

Bowl Ease introduces a product-service system where users can select, pay for, and access disposable bowling shoes through a mobile app and vending machine. The system removes the need for shared rentals, providing a faster, cleaner, and more efficient experience.
